Cattle spend their whole lives on the 83,000-acre San Simeon ranch around Hearst Castle and the Jack Ranch in Cholame, 100% grass-fed and finished. Frozen steaks and ground beef sell at the ranch kiosk in the Hearst Castle Visitor Center and Sebastian's General Store in Old San Simeon.
